We now operate five of the busiest
ice cream stands in Maine
  • Skowhegan - 307 Madison Avenue, along Route 201.(For directions)
Our first stand, opened in 1980 is a great destination on a summer evening when the whole family turns out for ice cream and miniature golf.
  • Farmington - 293 Main Street, just off Route 2.(For directions)
We opened our Farmington stand in May 1982. Today, it’s a favorite spot for students from the University of Maine at Farmington.
  • Bangor - 1109 Broadway, along City Route 6.(For directions)
Our Bangor ice cream stand opened in June 1987. We like to think that local resident, Stephen King, visits now and then.
  • Waterville - 170 Silver Street.(For directions)
Gifford’s in Waterville opened in 1992. Local families as well as Colby College students come for our famous ice cream and to test their skills at mini golf and in the batting cages.
  • Auburn - 910 Minot Ave.(For directions)
    Opened July 31, 2006!
