In 1980, we sold our first Gifford’s ice cream cone to Van Ames from Madison, Maine at our stand in Skowhegan, Maine. Van continues to visit our Skowhegan ice cream stand where he orders his favorite – Blue Ribbon Strawberry. At first, our customers came from the small towns where we had our rural milk routes. Today, customers from all over the world have tasted and enjoyed Gifford’s Ice Cream.
